The PSA Provincial Statistical Office of Davao led by Chief Statistical Specialist Jessie A. Madulin conducted the Capacity Development Workshop on Provincial Product Accounts for Davao Occidental PSC members on the 4th day of September 2024 at Conference Area, DPWH District Office, Brgy. Buhangin, Malita, Davao Occidental.

This workshop was participated by PPA Technical staff from Regional Statistical Services Office XI, PSA Davao Occidental, and the Subnational Economic Accounts Division from Macroeconomic Accounts Service PSA Central Office; and Davao Occidental Provincial Statistics Committee (PSC) Members and Business Process and Licensing Offices (BPLOs) of each municipality served as participants.

The Office-In-Charge and Supervising Statistical Specialist of the Subnational Economic Accounts Division from Macroeconomic Accounts Service, PSA Central Office (MAS-SEAD), Ms. Elgie A. Gulane-Rosenblad and Senior Statistical Specialist Ms. Precious Anne C. De Jesus were the resource persons of the workshop. 
                                                                        
The workshop aimed to appreciate the importance of the national accounts, in particular the compilation of PPA and its results as well as to brief stakeholders (LGUs and provincial line agencies) on the implementation of the Philippine Statistics Authority - Local Government Unit Data Sharing project for business register.
