EVENT : 2nd Quarter Regional Statistics Committee XI Meeting

The Regional Statistics Committee (RSC) XI held its virtual Second Regular Meeting for the year on 07 June 2021.

The following were the business agenda of the meeting: (1) Presentation of the 2020 Economic Performance of Davao Region; (2) Presentation of the latest Philippine Standard Industrial Classification (PSIC); (3) Monitoring Report of the 2020 Implementation of the 2018-2023 Regional Statistical Development Program (RSDP) of Davao Region; (4) Updates on the Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS); (5) Presentation of 1st Quarter Core Regional Indicators System (CoRe-Is)-Davao Region; (6) Science, Engineering, Technology, and Innovation (SETI) Scorecard; and (7) Latest PSA Board Resolutions. The meeting was presided by the NEDA XI Regional Director and RSC XI Chair, Dir. Maria Lourdes D. Lim.

During this meeting, the RSC XI passed and approved three resolutions, to wit: (1) Requesting the Regional Development Council XI to Urge the Regional Line Agencies and Local Government Units to Adopt and Use the 2009 PSIC; (2) Endorsing to the Regional Development Council XI the 2020 Monitoring Report of the Davao Region 2018-2023 RSDP; and (3) Requesting the Regional Development Council XI to Urge LGUs to Support the Nationwide Rollout of the CBMS.
