The Regional Statistics Committee (RSC) XI convened its 2019 fourth quarter meeting on 13 December 2019 held at the NEDA-RDC XI Center Conference Hall, Bangkal, Davao City. There were 18 out of 29 members (62.1 percent) attended during the meeting, which was presided by NEDA Regional Director and RSC Chairperson, Director Maria Lourdes D. Lim

During this meeting, following were the business agenda: (1) 30th National Statistics Month Report/14th National Convention on Statistics; (2) Updates on the Republic Act No. 11315 or otherwise known as “ Community-Based Monitoring System Act” (3) Inventory of Statistical Positions in Local Government Units; (4) RDC XI Advisory Committee Resolution No. 9 s. 2019 “Enjoining the Philippine Statistics Authority to Develop a Tool to Disaggregate Poverty Incidence Data”; (5) Surveys granted clearance through Statistical Survey Review and Clearance System (SSRCS) and (6) 2020 Census of Population and Housing.

Moreover, RSC XI passed and approved four (4) Resolutions, viz:

1. Resolution No. 11, series of 2019: “Commending Government Institutions in Davao Region for Presenting Papers During The 14th National Convention on Statistics”;

2. Resolution No. 12, series of 2019: “Enjoining Local Government Units (LGUs) to Provide Information on the Inventory of Statistical Position”;

3. Resolution No. 13, series of 2019: “Endorsing the Regional Development Council XI Advisory Committee Resolution No. 9, series of 2019 to the PSA Board for Appropriate Action”;

4. Resolution No. 14, series of 2019: “Enjoining Regional Line Agencies, Local Government Units, Academe, Media, Non-Government Organizations and Private Sector to Support the Conduct of the 2020 Census of Population and Housing of the PSA”.
