PSA Compostela Valley successfully concluded the Online PSA Data Mining Tutorial last June 26, 2019 at PSA ComVal Training Room. It was attended by the planning officers from different municipalities and representative from Provincial Planning and Development Office of Compostela Valley.

CSS Abraham Enrico E. Gulay, Jr delivered his welcome message and explained further the importance of having such activity. He also mentioned that the activity is to capacitate the participants on generating official data from the website. Also, OIC Regional Director Ruben D. Abaro Jr. gave his message to inspire participants to use available data online that can be found in PSA website as well as to PSA Davao Region’s website. OIC RD Abaro also asked the participants to help PSA in informing the general public on PSA activities.

SSII Ronald R. Piad and AO I Maila Gale Ejera presented data available from PSA website and demonstrated how to extract and generate data. During the open forum, the participants requested PSA to facilitate training for statisticians from planning office to have a common language in dealing statistics. And luckily, CSS Gulay promised to have such training on the 3rd quarter this year.
