“Brimming with high hopes for a premier Province even amidst of pandemic”


The sun was smiling, when the 55th Araw ng Davao del Norte Civic Parade
made its way through hot and blistering streets of downtown in Tagum City.

A large number of people walking coming from the different government and
private agencies all going in the same direction took part in the customary
activity to commemorate the celebration of the 55th Araw ng Davao del Norte.

The years’ civic parade or formerly known as “Alay-Lakad” has a theme “Kahiusayan sa Kadaugan ug mas Malungtarong Kalamboan.” Among the participants of the civic parade is the PSA - Davao del Norte Provincial Statistical Office (DavNor PSO) in the morning of 01 July 2022.

The PSA DavNor PSO employees and Contract of Service Workers were among the participants on the solidarity walk, which started at the Tagum City Historical and Cultural Center going through the major routes of Tagum City leading to Davao del Norte Sports and Tourism Complex (DNSTC) in Barangay Mankilam, City of Tagum.

This year’s anniversary theme encapsulates a festive commemoration of the province’s arts and culture, talents and accomplishments from its humble beginning to becoming one of the country’s centers of competitiveness.
