Through innumerable institutional mobile registration in the province this paved way for Davao del Norte Provincial Statistical Office (DavNor PSO) to secure again the top spot in the 2021 PSA Awards in recognition of the outstanding performance in the conduct of Step 2 Registration of the Philippine Identification System.

The Certificate of Recognition was given during the 2021 PSA Awards in Quezon City last 28 July 2022. Chief Statistical Specialist (CSS) Pepito D. Amoyen of DavNor PSO received the recognition with great pride and honor for the incredible success of DavNor Team.

Despite the restrictions and limitations brought about by the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic, DavNor PSO was able to register 859,746 registrants from the nooks and crannies of the province in the year 2021.

Different strategies were done to conduct institutional mobile registration that caters those who have no time going to the registration centers to register themselves into the inclusive identification system or PhilSys.

The DavNor PSO would like also to give sincere appreciation to the partner agencies, government and private for the approved sent coordination communication letters which marked as a symbol of cooperation in establishing the PhilSys, as the social and economic platform of the Philippine government.
