The year-on-year regional inflation of Davao Region moved upward to 8.6 percent in July 2022, from 7.2 percent in June 2022. This is the highest recorded inflation since January 2022. The average inflation for the first six months of the year stood at 6.0 percent. (Table 1 and Figure 1) Purchasing Power of the Peso (PPP) measures the real value of the Philippine peso in a given period relative to its value in the base period. copy issuance of Civil Registry Documents (Birth, Marriage and Death Certificates) and certifications (Negative Certification, Certificate of No Record of Marriage or CRS Form No. 4 – CENOMAR and CRS Form No. 5 – Advisory on Marriages).

In 2020, a total of 31,270 deaths were reported in Davao Region as their usual residence, a decline of 3.4 percent from 32,384 in 2019.  This is equivalent to a crude death rate1 of 5.9, or about six deaths per 1,000 population in 2020.  This corresponds to an average of 85 deaths per day, which translates to 4 deaths per hour.
