Philippine Identification System in Davao Region Registration Centers are now open to serve 5 – 17 years old registrants

The Philippine Statistics Authority – Regional Statistical Services Office XI, Philippine Identification System Registration Centers is now accomodating children and teenagers that ranges from the ages of five (5) to seventeen (17) years old as registrants for Philippine Identification Card. Parents may register their children and teenagers at the PSA Fixed Registration Center located at the PSA Ango Building, Cabaguio Avenue, Davao City for their biometric information (i.e., finger print, iris scan and front facing imagine). They may also register through the PhilSys mobile registration in the various barangays around the region.

PSA RSSO 11 conducts a quarterly Customer Satisfaction Survey to the clients of PSA Civil Registration Serbilis (CRS) Outlet in Davao City to continually improve the delivery of its frontline services and meet customer expectations.

Public Advisory - CRS Outlet is open on 19 March 2022

PSA Davao City Civil Registry System (CRS) Outlet will be part of a scheduled CRS-ITP2 High Volume, Wide Scale Dry-Run Activity. In line with this, Davao City CRS Outlet is open on Saturday, 19 March 2022 and will only serve clients with prior appointment requesting for manual authentication and copy issuance of Civil Registry Documents (Birth, Marriage and Death Certificates) and certifications (Negative Certification, Certificate of No Record of Marriage or CRS Form No. 4 – CENOMAR and CRS Form No. 5 – Advisory on Marriages).

2018-2020 Labor Force Survey Results in Davao Region

Over 2.05 million part of the total workforce population in Davao

Region Davao Region's total population 15 years old and over for year 2020 was at 3.56 million. Labor Force Participation Rate (LFPR) during this period was at 57.5 percent, accounting for 2.05 million economically active Davaoeños (see Table 1). This is 2.8 and 2.3 percentage points lower compared to the LFPR of year 2018 and 2019, respectively.

First Semeser 2021 Poverty Statistics of Davao Region

Php 11,103 needed to stay out of poverty
For the first half of 2021, a family of five in Davao Region needed at least Php 11,103 to be able to meet both basic food and non-food needs in a month. This is an increase of 4.8 percent from the poverty threshold posted in the same period in 2018, which was estimated at Php 10,598. At the national level, the monthly threshold was around at Php 12,082, on the average, which is 979 pesos higher than the region’s estimated threshold.
